MFO Hosts a Joint Military Committee Meeting

The MFO was honored to host military representatives from both Parties to the 1979 Treaty of Peace, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the State of Israel, and provide logistical and technical support for their Joint Military Committee (JMC) meeting on November 7, 2021, at the MFO’s South Camp.

Established as an integral part of the 1979 Treaty, the JMC provides a forum for senior leaders and other subject matter experts from both Treaty Parties to discuss Treaty-related matters and other topics of mutual interest, review prior discussions, and plan future events and initiatives.

The MFO welcomes these opportunities to support communication and cooperation between the Treaty Parties.
